Exploring nature in our local community
Children in the Butterfly group (the pre-school year) can take advantage of accessing our NEW nature bug walks in our local community during the differring seasons of the year. The children have planned activities that are flexible depending on the weather and the children’s interests on the day.
The children have a discussion before leaving in their own room about what the learning intentions of the morning are and where they will going.
Nature bugs helps children to build independence and confidence in a small group becoming aware of their surroundings and how to stay safe whilst identifying birds, mini beasts, plants, farm animals, colours, textures and much much more.
